lucy kate's been in our world for a little over three weeks.
seriously? time just flies.
here's some little bits of her that i don't want to forget...
she sleeps with one leg propped up...just like her daddy.
her eyes are slowly beginning to succumb to the inevitable brown.
she's still trying to get the hang of breastfeeding...though the last couple days have been better.
she's waking up every two to three hours at night...much better than her brother! he only gave me an hour and a half!
she is so alert during the day! she's awake for hours at a time, just looking around, taking in the world.
she's already outgrown most of her newborn sized clothes. she weighed in at a little over nine pounds at her two week check up...
her umbilical cord stump took its time falling off but once it did, it revealed the sweetest innie ever!
she LOVES bathtime. she just sits in the water relaxing, content as can be, while i pour the water over her.
oh, she is a squirmy wormy! always moving.
she's also a talker. moaning and groaning in her sleep and babbling when she's awake. this does not bode well for future phone bills.
she loves music. when she's fussing, if you sing to her or take her over next to the stereo, she calms right down.
every day, she's growing and changing. can't wait to see what comes next.
