flashback friday : let's go back to july.

i never posted about the fourth of july. sad...but true. however, blogland is full of grace...so i can post about it now without repercussions. right?

maybe it's something about the chill in the air today, the soup simmering on the stove or the sweater i put on this morning (and haven't taken off) that makes these pictures seem so far away. regardless...here's a peek at our independence day celebrations:
